Dear Friends,

Last year proved to be an exciting year for Futures and Options, as we continued to expand and innovate student-centered career readiness programming for New York City youth. We are thrilled to share with you our FY2022 Annual Report, which highlights the creativity and collaboration of our vast network of partners – schools, employers, volunteers, donors, and students.

With your partnership:

• 296 students participated in paid, mentored internships, gaining transferrable professional skills that will last a lifetime
• 769 students immersed themselves into meaningful career exploration, preparing for the world of work and becoming exposed to new career pathways
• 90 program alumni cultivated powerful mentorship relationships, sharing and receiving support and encouragement and creating lifelong networks
• 350 volunteers shared their professional experience and skills with high school students, igniting our students’ passions and inspiring them for the future

Our program alum say it best, “The exposure I gained to a professional corporate environment through my internship helped enrich my current education. I now feel more confident in pursuing future internships knowing that I have had this experience before.”

Futures and Options’ rich array of programming creates a ripple of impact, transforming the lives of young people and empowering them to experience the thrill of work, develop a toolbox of professional skills, and grow in self-confidence and character.
