Dream Big – A Celebration of Opportunity

We were thrilled to celebrate Dream Big with our sponsors, donors, business partners, students, and friends. Our guests at The Plaza were inspired by Dream Big Scholarship winners Jigmey Dorjee and Karen Zheng as they shared their impressive experiences. We were also thrilled to recognize Stephen E. Hessler of Sidley Austin LLP and Andrew D. Pearle, MD of Hospital for Special Surgery, our Dream Big honorees, for their commitment to supporting youth development. Dream Big raised more than $1.275 million, which will enable us to provide transformative career exploration and readiness programming, mentorship opportunities, and paid internships to New York City’s talented youth.

A Toast to Brighter Futures

Our Junior Board hosted A Toast to Brighter Futures, in which we celebrated our students, heard from past Scholarship recipient Emely Mojica, and presented BlackRock with the Corporate Volunteer Engagement Award. Our supporters raised more than $80,000 for our programs and college scholarships. More than 98% of our students go to college, and funds raised at Toast help our students fulfill their college dreams.
